Rehearsal Dinner and Sunday Brunch

All,

I am in the process of finalizing where we will host our rehearsal dinner and sunday brunch. For rehearsal, I am thinking the Chartres House Cafe. For Sunday Brunch, Court of two Sisters.

Has anyone eaten at these places or have any feedback/ reviews?

One of our BM works St court of two sisters. He says it is not good, and not worth the money. So there's that. We are doing the jazz brunch at Commander's Palace for a rehearsal brunch.

I'm not a big fan of Court of Two Sisters. It is touristy and I've always thought of it as overpriced. I believe it is a buffet; not sure if you want that for a wedding-related event.

Palace cafe is a good option. Also cafe Amelie.

Mr. B's does a Jazz Brunch too. Not quite as pricey as Commanders but still a Brennan family restaurant and it's in the FQ so if you have a bunch of OOT guests staying downtown it's really easy to get to.

Thanks ladies. I agree, Court of 2 sis is touristy...but I liked the Jazz Brunch idea. Thanks for the suggestion on Mr. B's, will def. look into this.

We're eating at Palace Cafe for another event. So glad to hear positive feedback about them!

You could also try House of Blues - they have a Gospel Brunch on Sundays which is really fun and something a bit different...
