Wedding Bible?

When my parents got married, my dad gave my mom a wedding bible as his gift to her.  She carried that along with a few flowers instead of a regular bouquet.  I would love to do the same, but have not had any luck finding a pretty white Bible.  Anyone have any suggestions?  I've only looked online and at Lifeway so far, so I can still check out Family Christian and Mardels...

Does your Mom still have the Bible she carried? If she does, you could carry hers and that could be your "something old" or "something borrowed".

My grandmother gave me the Bible she carried down the aisle, but I decided that I wanted a fuller bouquet rather than just a nosegay on the Bible, but I do love the symbolism of using it. We're going to have our reverend use her Bible for any of the passages he chooses to read during the ceremony instead.

I have heard of women throwing a White Bible ceremony at the bridal luncheon and giving the bride a white bible. I've been to a few of these. Has anyone else?

My aunt and uncle gave my parents a little white Bible as a baby shower gift.  Mom says that Dad cried when he opened it because he was holding this little baby and was already given something for the day he gives his baby away.

I am excited to finally carry it!

here's a few from Zondervan, depending on what you're looking for:

They also have those little tiny bibles, usually just the NT and Psalms, that are sold by the case & given at baptisms & stuff.  Your church might be able to hook you up there

We're thinking about getting a family bible and having our parents sign it instead of doing a unity candle.

Sigh. My grandma carried a white Bible at her wedding, and that was the only "thing" I really wanted for my wedding. We can't find it! We found the box it came in, but it's full of newspaper clippings about their wedding! :( I wanted it mainly for the sentimental value... Oh, well.

I love this idea.  I really want a family bible, but I got two bibles for Christmas, and don't really want to have to lug a big one around in the near future because we are probably moving right after the wedding.  Maybe as a first anniversary gift to eachother or something.

Oh I love this idea! The bible my church gave me when I was  confirmed is even white!
As for Bible shopping, I love Lifeway stores. It's where i got my hot pink metal bible. Strange that they didn't have any in white...
