is this too much?

We arent going to do centerpeices, just table numbers, Ive always liked the idea of pocketfolded napkins and i think it would be a nice touch. We planned on having wedding mad libs, a drink menu, and a thank you note at the reception just werent sure how we were going to do it. im thinking we can out all three in the napkin, with tiered levels...kinda like inserts in an invitation. how do you think something like this would look on top of a gold round placemat? (the napkin will be a dark purple)

FI hates the color gold. he is just going to have to get over it lol. our theme is peacock, how do you do peacock without gold!!! i need to find a website to buy the placemates cheap. i found one to get the napkins for $7 and some change per dozen but the placemats are almost $3 a peice. theres a store near me that usually has that kinda stuff, ill check them out this weekend. some girl on 4 weddings did these and out a peacock feather in them and i died it was so cute!

Oh the feather would be cute! I'm not a fan of gold either but with peacock and dark purple it's gorgeous.

I think that's a great idea. I just ordered linens from this site today, and they had the best prices I've found. I know they're not round, but these (<-clicky) are 4 for $4.69. Plus they give you 20% off at checkout. They also have pintuck napkins.

Good luck finding what you need. I cant't to see how they turn out.

Those are really cute and elegant. Nobody will miss a big bulky center piece when you've got drinks and food out.

I really like the table runners. That's one of the things I purchased. For $3 a runner, you really can't go wrong even if you decide not to use them.
