Piano cover of "Everlong" cheesy?

Everlong by the Foo Fighters is my all time favorite song.  I was looking on Youtube to hear piano versions of it and I love it even more.  When I was talking to my fiance about it being played during our ceremony he said that it would be really cheesy. His reason is because of Monica and Chandler's wedding on Friends; Everlong was being played at the end of their ceremony.  We both LOVE Friends and thought that would also be nice to incorporate that into our wedding.  What do you think?

I actually don't like that song, but I think it sounds beautiful on the piano. If you and your FI love it then you should do it because its your wedding so you can personalize it however you want.

If FI thinks it's cheesy then there's your answer. It's his wedding too, after all. I think a nice way of incorporating the song would be to play the Foo Fighters' acoustic version during the reception, perhaps during dinner? It's a beautiful version and the melody doesn't get lost.
