piggybacking on this post: Will I really regret it if I don't get videography?  I kind of figure who wants to watch a video of someone else's wedding.  I got bored even watching the Royal Wedding.  My mother is really insistent about it, but I don't really want to spend the money.

Dyle is the best, but if they're booked try Brideflim.

<div>I would say it's a personal preference.  We originally did not book videography to try to keep our budget down.  Then about a month and a half before we both decided it was something we really wanted.  I haven't seen the video yet, but I'm glad we did it.  The day went by so fast, and there are parts of the ceremony that I don't even remember fully.  I guess that was due to me being nervous or concentrating on what I had to say.  We used High Rise Productions.  Randy worked with me, and we did not film the getting ready part to cut down on the cost.  He showed up before the ceremony to film some details and decor and filmed the ceremony and reception.  I can understand getting bored watching the entire thing, but I think it will be nice having a highlight video of the day.</div>

Check out some of their websites. Especially Dyle and Bridefilm. I'd also look at their video's on Vimeo. The work is amazing... it's like a movie. You'll cry!  That's why I decided to have a videographer. It's sooo much more than just a video.

Most videographers offer the 1 or 2 song long version of your wedding that is edited to show all of the highlights.  I don't plan on watching my ceremony more than once or twice or my entire reception, but I can't wait for the condensed versions.  I used Dyle Films and loved working with them!

We almost didn't book a videographer due to budget cuts, but we ended up booking one just because our parents really wanted a video of the day! Photographs are important, but my goodness the video lets you relive the day over again( the day sure does fly by with a blink of an eye)! Trust me, once you get your own video you will watch it over and over again! I didn't think I would watch it this much, but I am not kidding you I have watched this video 100 times already!  When it's your own video, you will watch it!
