Hey! I just bought the fabric for my bridesmaid dresses yesterday. Joann's is having a big sale so I got all of it for 50% off. I got three different fabrics and it ended up being $75 total!! That's for 3 BMs with full length baby doll type dresses. I think I'm going to try to set up an appointment with Louise for this weekend to get started on making them.     Thanks! I talked to her, and I think I'm going to have her make mine as well. Do you know how long it will take her to make them? I forgot to ask her that. I can't wait to see how your dresses turn out.

    I'm not sure how long it will take but our wedding is 4 months out so I'm going to have the girls get in there as soon as possible so she can start on them.

    Wow, cool -- where did you find the pattern?

    Also, about how much is it to have Louise make a bridesmaid dress? Can she do it if the bridesmaids are out-of-state?

    I just told her what I wanted and sent her some pics of what I was going for. Louise was a pattern designer for 20 years!!! So I have full faith in her that she will make them look stunning. I'm going for the empire waist,"baby doll" (what Louise call it haha) and the bust area is dark gray with black lace overlay and black satin floor length bottom. They are $85 for each girl and then won't need any alterations.

    I would contact Louise and ask her about the out of state BM, I'm sure she could make a general size but Louise is a perfectionist and I can see her wanting it to be perfect!
