s/o The bachelor

Apparently there is a 'contestant' on the bachelor who is from my hometown. I tried to watch and see if I knew her, I couldnt do it. That show is so filled with desperate bimbos (not to stereotype of course...). To those who watch it, how do you do it without puking? They are an embarassment to women.

  • T and I have just had a blast mocking the crazy girls. Especially this one...she seems psycho. This is my first time watching it.
  • I was all 'wtf?!' at the one who was saying that she is desperate for a husband. I like to think my husband picked me out of thousands... not a preselected 20 (or however many they have).

I find the whole show very creepy for this reason.
  • I love it like a trainwreck.  Just to make fun of everyone.  The desperation repulses and intrigues me at the same time.  I am dvr-ing it.  This guy seems so boooooring though.

Nice guys play the girls don't wamt a nice guy card, but it is because they are stiff and dull and boring.  My H is supernice but he is hilarious and fun and laid back so he does not come across as an "Oh Geez...Im so nice" guy.

  • The guy is super boring and the girls are super desperate.
  • My DD works with Emily that wore the emerald green dress (she went home tonight).
  • The part I can never comprehend is that they would want to be engaged to someone who, the day before, cannot decide who he wants to be with.

If my H had to choose between me and someone else, then I wouldn't want him. My ego could not tolerate that.   I need someone to be 100% about me.

Thats another thing that bugs me. I wouldn't be interested in some guy who is dating 25 (or however many) girls at once. I dont feel like you can find true love on a show like that.
  • "Sorry that I slept with your roommate last night, but it was what I needed to decide that you are the one for me for the next month or two.  She already gave it up and let me put it in her butt so I'm going to test you out for a while now instead."

I also like to think that I married my husband because I fell in love with someone who made my life better and made me happy....not because I wanted to be married and any man who would marry me would do.

Like how would you trust someone you didnt know, who claimed they wanted to be married.  I think the idea of marriage should come after the relationship, not before.

  • One of the girls has been involved with a crewmember - it's supposed to be revealed in one of the next few shows (maybe next week?). A big no-no.

I havent watched it since the beginning couple, same with The Real World. The stupid ones on VH1 etc are at least somewhat amusing ("Real" and "Chance" and Rock of Love, etc).

But she has everything else, she just needs a husband! Doesn't matter who, as long as he looks good.

  • Is/ did anyone watch the show after The Bachelor? "Conveyor belt of love", we're watching now it is interesting.
  • CS...I posted this a long time ago but, during the finale of Daisy of Love my H turned to me all seriously and said "you know...I think out of all the reality shows we have seen she has the best looking top 3."  No wonder all my gay friends hit on him.

I remember we shared Flex love, right?

  • One of the girls from the first Rock of Love was from Buffalo.

OH and one of the guys on American Idol Season 2 (I think) who had red hair and sang like Frank Sinatra. I think his name was Jon Stevens. He was from my hometown.
