Anyone recognize this floral applique dress?

Hi everyone!

I've been hunting for dresses with a 3D floral effect, and found quite a number in the Spring 2012 collections (it seems suddenly really popular!). But I also came across photos of a dress online, in another bride's photos posted by the photographer, and there is no info given about the dress, but it's amazing. Does anyone recognize this dress or have any sense of which designer this might be??

It has a Claire Pettibone look (the applique) but the A-line shape isn't like any Claire Pettibone dress and I've checked it isn't one of hers....

I'd appreciate any help!

I would contact the photographer and see if he can contact the bride.

I wanted a 3D floral gown also and am positive I've seen this one before... I want to say Jim Hjelm maybe? It's a gorgeous dress. Good luck!

In case anyone else was interested, the really nice photographer wrote back to me with the info: it is from the Caroline Herrera Spring 2010 collection and is called the "Franz Xavier Winterhalter" dress (named for a painter).

Unfortunately it retailed for $10,000 and is a past season now, but I'll be watching for second-hand ones on sale!
