Re: Anyone feeling judgey today?

  • Wow glad I worked out first before coming on TK today so I could miss this.

Anyways, i just the newb on the Reception Ideas board who totally overreacted to her responses, and then tried to justify her overreaction by saying she deleted the really bad responses she got.  Haha, nice try newb.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Anyone feeling judgey today? : I know this, and appreciate it. I'm pretty sure Kiki does too. But everything is relative. My biggest problems, while they might pale in comparison to say the plight of AIDS babies in South East Asia, are still my biggest problems. And to me they are a big fucking deal, and I am still allowed to worry about them and occasionally complain about them to friends. I can do this while simultaneously understanding other people have it worse.

Anna, every post you write makes me like you more.

Jeebus, everyone can have a whiney day and, yes, if kiki put it out there on a forum for anyone to read, anyone can answer it. But cracking down on her because they have a higher household income than some but have more debt than others is ridiculous. No one knows her personal financial situation except her and her husband and it is ridiculous to make a statement like "I make less than you but I  still managed to pay off some debt!" since no one knows what the details are. Get over yourselves.

  • I judge idiots who click on links that are clearly not from someone you know, and because of that, I get a bunch of stupid emails from you asking me if I want viagra.

    I DONT.

  • Aaaaaaand once again I was late to the thread. Stupid Pacific time zone.

I judge one of my coworkers who is all freaked out because she has to move her desk (common in a lot of game companies, they move people around depending on what team they are on). She is all freaked out because she will no longer be in a corner by a wall but will be the first cube off the aisle and now she won't have her "privacy" anymore. I'm in a cube on the aisle and I manage just fine, thank you. She's literally UPSET about it, like on the verge of tears. Dude, get over it. It will take a little adjustment but you'll settle in eventually. Stop being such a freaking baby. Sheesh.

  • I love that when I was still pretty new to FB I clicked on a link and it sent out a message to my FB friends basically telling them they were all fat and should try these new diet pills.

  • I got that one. THANKS RICKS. I'm only now getting over the emotional damage that caused.

  • I judge the people testing our fire alarm right now.  It's gone off almost 10 times.  It works.  My ears hurt.  Sheesh.

  • Anna, she is one of those people that practically needs a sensory deprivation chamber to work. Everything distracts her and she gets really upset when people walk by her desk. I know we artists are always considered needy and demanding but she takes it way beyond the rest of us.

[QUOTE]Hi Xyr!!  Long time, no see :)  And you're absolutely correct on the tax bracket thing.

Uh, no.  Even if you both made that much you wouldn't be in the highest tax bracket, and it's sureasshit not 50%.  Nice try though.

  • I don't really post on these things but..

I judge FMIL. She claims that if she dies, we get her 11 year son. Um, no. She hasn't even discussed this with us and has no intentions of doing so. She's told everyone else on the planet but us. I also judge her for pretty much every decision she makes and how she treats FI.

    damn work.
  • I judge my socks with gray on the toes and the heel because when they get funked up its totally obvious that they aren't on correctly and that is embarrassing.

  • Lala, please feel free to continue judging.  I'm at work for 3 more hours.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Anyone feeling judgey today? : So you can be all judegy about Nebb but I can't judge you? Don't dish it out if you can't take it.  I'm not saying that you can't have debt, I understand a lot of people have debt, what I was saying is you need to realize there is a lot of people who have it a lot worse then you. All I said is you come across as a rich snob to me.
