Need inexpensive ceremony/reception site

I'm looking for an inexpensive ceremony and reception site that will allow outside catering for Aug 2010. Somebody just told me that they want to pay for my ceremony/reception site, so I had to change plans a bit. There will be 50 people. Preferably in the northern suburbs but will also go to south western burbs. I've searched on here already but haven't really found much. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Since your guest list is small, it might be worth looking into restaurants like Maggiano's and using a private room. Spiaggia private rooms are nice too. I've been to a bridal shower there.

    This thread is kind of old, so you may have already found something, but if you're looking for really inexpensive, I'm having my reception at The Levy Center in Bolingbrook. It's used basically as a community center for seniors. http://www.dupagetownship.com/banquets.htm

    It's surprisingly nice though, and cheap, and it has a nice garden and outdoor area for the ceremony.
