I'm sort of having a venue emeregency. I have had a contract signed with the hotel that I am having my reception at since October. Last week, two weeks before the wedding, the venue called my FI, not me, to let me know that they can not set up and move chairs like they said that they would. They said that if we wanted them to do that, they would charge us an additional $300 to do so. We got the chair situation handled, but I called today to makes sure that the vendors would have access to the venue when they needed it. I was told that we would not have acess untill sometime after 1PM on Friday, when we have paid for both Friday and Saturday. What puzzels me is why am I hearing about all these problems now? To be honest if I knew this place would be this much of a hassle I would have never booked my wedding there. Thanks for letting me vent. If you have any suggestions on how to deal with this problem please let me know. I really appreciate your advise.
