Glasses Vs. No Glasses (PIP)?

The other post below has me interested to know what people who wear glasses look like with and without them. I think I look super weird without them because I've worn them since 1995.

So, if anyone cares to share, go ahead! Here's me:

This is one of the only pictures in existence without my glasses on.

First I'm jealous! weird IKR lol As a kid I always wanted to wear glasses because they look so intellectual. And my grandma had huge red one's that I loved!!

**Anywho I agree with Chelsea that you both look great with or with out them!

Elizabeth, you probably can't tell but my glasses are red too.

Zims, I think you look like you in both pictures. Perceptions of ourselves can be so interesting.

Yeah I feel like I look a lot different when my hair is up. Less like me but I don't always feel like getting ready for classes so I'll throw my hair up and sweats on. That'll be my go to next week for finals

I hate the way I look in glasses. FI loves when I'm wearing them but I can't stand it. I don't think there are even pictures with me in glasses. I only wear them at night.

Midge you look great in your glasses...it seems to fit your personality.

I totally always wanted glasses when I was little too. I just wanted to be cool and I thought the kids with glasses were cool.

Aww thanks! And I totally wanted glasses too. I noticed how bad my eyes were last year in the big lecture halls and driving at night. Sometimes at night I couldn't tell if the people driving towards me were in my lane or not :/ It was definitely time to get my eyes looked at

I hardly ever wear my glasses....really only for going to bed/getting up in the morning. Unless I am hungover, sick or really really tired. Then I will wear them during the day, but usually only until about lunch time and then I put my contacts in. So I have no pictures of me with my glasses on (other than super old ones!) Everyone tells me I look great in glasses but it just bugs me how many blind spots I have when I wear them!! (I've been wearing glasses since grade 4 and contacts since grade 7)

Heh, I love my glasses now and have for years but I will never forget what I said when I was first told as a 4th grader that I needed glasses. It didn't help that I got braces the same year.

Doctor: "What would you say if I told you that you needed glasses?"
Me: "I'd hate you."

Where were all of you who thought glasses were cool at my elementary school?

my brother wore glasses ever since he was about 7 (so as long as I can remember, I'm 4 years younger). recently he has switched to contacts and like you said it is very different. I think most people look cute both ways, though.
I'm kind of glad I've never had to wear glasses not only because of the whole health thing, but because my disproportionate face can't even handle sunglasses. sunglasses bring out the fact that one side of my face is a little more sunken in than the other. it's really not obvious at all normally, but the rigidness of glasses suddenly makes me look really mismatched. and this is not just my opinion. my mom and a good friend that i trust have both said that to me on those few occasions that I do try to wear sunglasses. they were really nice about it though hehe

I have contacts. I barely EVER wear my glasses. I don't like the "blind" spots when wearing glasses. And, I don't like the fact that FI calls them "specs."

I don't have any pics on my computer that have me with my glasses (it's been that long since I've worn them).

I've needed glasses since 2nd grade, but have worn contacts since 2003. I really hate glasses, and only wear them from the bathroom to the bed at night lol. My field of view is so much better with contacts. Sorry I don't have any pictures of me in glasses to share with you!

Too cute!! This is why I miss being a preschool teacher! Even when they drove me crazy they always ended up making my day brighter. Dani what age do you teach?!

I think you look great either way but the photographer in me has to mention to keep in mind that in pictures with flash there will be a glare unless you have special lenses. ;-)

I wore glasses daily until senior year. I refused to wear glasses to my prom so I got contacts. After wearing contacts for many years I decided to switch back to glasses. I wear glasses everyday but I ALWAYS wear my contacts when I go out.
