Cake Toppers $$

How much are you guys spending on cake toppers?  There are some pricy ones out there haha.  But I really want the sparkly initials.

I found one online through I think weddingaccessories.com or something like that for a silver monogrammed 'O' for only $8

if you want the bling on it you can DIY w/ some rhinestones bought from a michaels or hobby lobby

I couldn't find one that I really liked, so I finally gave up and told my florist to make a floral topper. I'm paying $15 for it

I got my monogram here (http://dazzlemeelegant.com/), and she did a great job. I think we ended up paying $55, or something close to that.

Well.... I am splurging a bit on ours. It is about $90. But it is personalized and fits my FH soooo well. It will be a big hit. I'm keeping it a surprise from him! I'm actually going to use it at the rehearsal dinner, since I'll have his groom's cake there, and we're doing cupcakes at the wedding. It will be on display at the wedding though.

We got a groom in hockey gear (suit w/ skates, helmet, holding a stick) and a cheering bride (bride in dress with a foam finger)  We spent 50$.  Totally worth it!  Went perfectly with the contemporary cake and relaxed reception!  Looks great on display in our home!

We're going with a few succulents on top and a gold monogram "C" off of Ebay for like $30??

I've been having the same question.  My fiance and I would like to have a wedding cake topper, but any that I've seen and liked are at least $30+.  So, now we're thinking about not even having one and using that money toward something we really really want/need for the wedding.
