Hello ladies, 
this is the one part of the wedding i didnt think of when i said yes. I lost a really good friend you could almost say she was my other half almost 3 years ago now in a bad car accident. its been a hard 3 years and thinking of her not being in my wedding party has only made this process bitter sweet. She was one of those people who walked into a room and could make everyone smile. and i really dont know how to keep her with me on the most important day of my life. he favorite colors were hot pink and zebra print. and anything sparkly. i miss her like crazy everyday and sadly my FI never got to meet this amazing person. i want something more than a memorial candle sitting on a table to bring her into the day. i want something that screams to me "im here, even if i cant be here" but i dont want my guest to think that it looks out of place. i want something special for me but it to just be a little detail to my guest. PLEASE HELP ME

    What I did was we did a memorial vase it had a little poem on it and no names since DH and I had several family members we were honoring with that. Also for me not having my grandmother there was a HUGE deal so I filled the vase with her favorite flowers.

    Also I had one of her brooches attached to the fabric of my bouquet and it didn't match anything so I just turned it towards me and no one ever noticed but I knew it was there.

    You can always do something like this. Have the girls bouquet be hot pink flowers wrapped in zebra print fabric!!! Or have your colors reflect her favorite ones by being hot pink and sparkles and add a pop of zebra print in a few places.

    Ive heard if a small charm size framed picture attached to the bouquet. I lean towards more subtle because you don't want to bring the mood down when it's a happy celebration.

    i was also thinking doing hot pink sparkly shoes then i know they are there and as the would say "shut the front door, those rock my socks". keep the ideas coming also my colors are chocolate and orange

    What about wrapping your bouquet with zebra or hot pink ribbon?  Or maybe do some hot pink "bouquet jewelry"/rhinestones on stems throughout your bouquet so she will always be with YOU, but not necessarily a big, sad advertisement for your guests?

    I'm sorry your friend won't be there on your special day.  I'm sure she wouldn't have missed it for anything in the world.

    Can you sew a piece of pink zebra fabric ont he inside of your dress close to your heart.  You will know she is right there with you the whole ceremony and reception then.
