Planning a shower

Hey ladies,
I'm a MOH and trying to plan a shower. The Bride's family lives in southern NH and the groom's family lives in RI, we figured we would have the shower somewhere in the middle so the commute time is the same for both families (about 45min). So looking in MA, somewhere pretty close off of Rt 495, perhaps Needham area or close around there. Unfortunately i'm not super familiar with the area.

About 50-75 people will be invited. We are looking for something nice but nothing too expensive, no ideas are off the table at this point (ie restaurants, hotel rooms, VFW's, ect). Any ideas are appreciated!

    I went to a shower at the Sheraton Needham and the food was good and it was nice but I don't know the prices.

    Look at the hotels and restaurants along Route 1 in Dedham just off of Route 128/95 - there is a good selection there.  The BBC (British Beer Company) in that area has a whole private room upstairs that you can reserve & use for free.

    The Chateau in Norwood is VERY nice and have a private area you can use for a shower.  I went to one there and I'm having my rehearsal dinner at the Chateau in Norwood - it's a nice regional chain of Italian restaurants that is used to hosting wedding-related events.

    The Chateu in Norwood is, unfortunately, not near 495. But it is at a good midpoint between RI and NH right off of I-95. There's the 4 Points by Sheraton and there's a Marriott Courtyard there, for hotel function room options. For other restaurants in that area, there's Bon Caldo (another Italian place), Skye, and a French Bistro called Bistro 712. There's a Stoneforge in Dedham that might be nice, too.

    Oops, yes, not too near 495.  And I meant to say my rehearsal is at the one in Norton ... clearly didn't have my coffee yet when I posted that. =)  Stoneforge is also a fantastic suggestion.

    Well, Needham isn't exactly near 495 either.....that's off of 95.  If you meant that you wanted to be off of 95 (which makes sense if you have guests coming from RI and NH)...then the Chateau in Norwood is a reasonable suggestion, as Norwood is off 95.  Vinny T's in Dedham has private rooms downstairs.  Those are both Italian places...what type of food are you looking for?
