Merry Christmas ladies!

I just popped the breakfast casserole into the oven and I'm drinking my coffee and waiting for Ben (and FI) to wake up to see what Santa has left for him. I hope today is wonderful for you all!

    What did Ben get from Santa?






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Merry Christmas Lynda, Carrie, and all! I just woke up, and we're waiting for the last of my siblings to get up before we open presents. I have to leave for the airport at 2pm to fly out to Salt Lake City to meet FI! It will be interesting to see what flying on Christmas is like.

    I love flying on xmas.  The airports are not as crazy.  There is not a lot of air traffic and I've always gotten to my destination early. (on thanksgiving last year we got in 45 minutes early).

    One thing I do is say Merry Christmas (or happy holidays) to all of the workers as I approach them.  It always puts a smile on their face and sometimes gets me better seats, upgraded cars, etc.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    I'll make sure to be a friendly Christmas elf to anyone I meet. This is the first time in a while that I'm flying with nothing to do on the plane except pleasure reading, so I will be in a very good mood. :)

    Good morning and Merry Christmas, ladies! I'm the only one up yet, so I'm going to enjoy my coffee and a bit of peace until the kids get up. It's going to be complete chaos this afternoon; having roughly 30 people for dinner, and my daughters, parents and I will be the only ones who don't speak Spanish.

    Merry Christmas!!! I just woke up and although i wanted to go open gifts, I had an awesome crazy dream lastnight that I wouldnt mind reading in book form one day so I decided to write teh entire plot down in my notebook so I can!!

    Merry Christmas all! I'm up early for church and then we're driving over to the ILs' for the day. I'm quite anxious about seeing them, but trying not to let any negative thoughts enter my head today!

    Too much. He got a Cars racetrack, an Easybake Oven, Wii and DS games, a volcano making kit, a science experiment kit, Connect 4, a Bakugan arena, and a few other things. About half of that came from his Gram / Santa. She spoils him. :)

    Have a Merry Christmas!!!  Noodle and I agreed no gifts this year.  So I went out and bought him the Hangover on Blu-Ray, some liquor-based coffees and some flavored coffee sugars, because I'm a big fat liar.  On our way to my family's house, then his mom's family's house, then his dad's family's house.  Then home to drink, because we will need it.

    Merry Christmas!

    I can't wait to share stories about how my crazy aunt and uncle ruined xmas this year.  It's going to be epic.  Too bad I can't drink!

    Oh!  But we're doing something with close friends tomorrow and someone bought both me and my friend (who is in her 3rd tri) alcohol free wine!  Not the same, but such a sweet gesture! 

    Today will be nice, but I can't wait for tomorrow and Sunday!

    Merry Christmas all!  It's almost over here, and we're getting ready to pick up our friends from the airport.  Yeah!

    I did just find out that one of the International Nesties' son is in the Peds ICU with a serious case of pneumonia that started just 2 days ago.  So, if anyone can spare some thoughts for them, that would be wonderful.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

    We were going to go to mom's house an hour away, but neither one of us wants to drive in the snow and slush even with a 4x4.  City roads are okay but I don't want to brave country roads.  Plus FMIL is going in for surgery today for the third time in less than 2 weeks, so we want to be closer if we need to go to the hospital.

    My husband got the new super mario bros game from my mom for christmas and he is SO excited, I think its his favourite gift. He claims its the most popular game this year and you cant get it anywhere so hes impressed she found it. Hes such a kid!
