Good stuff: I'm going to meet with a florist this weekend and I'm pretty excited. The first florist I met with kept trying to get me to sway from my original vision, and he was pretty rude! When he mailed me my estimates, all the descriptions of the bouquets I was ordering were wrong! He changed everything to what he thought would look better. I was so mad, but I found a new florist who was willing to meet with me on super short notice. Can't wait!
Not so good stuff: super petty arguments about plus ones. I know I'm not the only one that did this, but people make me feel like its so far fetched to be only giving plus ones to people that are married, engaged, live together, or are in significant long term (like, 6 months at least) relationships. Or my only other exception was to give a plus one to people that I know wouldn't know anyone else there, so that at least they'd have someone to talk to. I kept it straight across the board and that way people can't say I did it for one but not for the other. I really didn't think this was a crazy concept. UGH.
