Wedding Woes

I am now "that woman"

I decide to take the kids to the park today.  It's a public park, walking paths, playground, pond.  Some school was having an end of year party so there were a solid 100 jr. high kds there plus their redneck parents.

I yelled at:
A set of parents smoking at the entrance to the playground
A group of kids casting without looking behind them
A kid that ran smack into M2 and I
The teachers that were off in a group talking to each other
The gaggle of teachers taking up the whole walking path

I should have turned around when I saw all of the cars.

  • I love that you are that Mom.  Parks need more of you.  I yelled at a group of JR High School kids earlier this week for bumping into me and tank.  When I walked away I heard them making fun of me and I went back and yelled at them some more.

I'm a momma bear and I will protect my cubs.
  • i bet you're happy to know that your school tax dollars are going to good use.

I was trying not to be annoyed that this school had taken over the whole park but it didn't happen.  I will say the kid that ran into us said "I'm sorry ma'am" several times.  He was the only one.  I didn't even mind being called ma'am.
  • The building across from mine hosts classes that all the foreign students have to attend. For some reason, these students don't understand that you shouldn't stand in the middle of the road. They make me insane, and this results in a lot of honking, shouting and fist shaking.

The other day I came out and several of these students were SITTING ON MY CAR! I came up from behind them and banged on the truck which both scared them and got their attention. I yelled at them and told them that this is a car, not a bench and that it is MY car and they need to get off of it. I was proud that I didn't curse.
