Good morning!

Re: Good morning!

  • Morning, Sucrets! You should go out and get McDs and bring it back for him. That'll be a nice surprise and you don't have to worry about him sleeping until breakfast is over.
  • I had Special K... the kind with the strawberries in it. :)
  • We don't have milk or OJ. They're both on the list to get today. We have bagels, but I had one yesterday and really would like something more substantial. We also forgot to buy eggs last week and that's really what I'm hungry for.

I might go nudge him and ask him what he wants. He might wake up if I go in there and start getting dressed, so that might make me feel less guilty.

  • Success! He stirred and said "you're getting dressed already?" and then I told him my master plan. He was happy. Off I go!

  • Loopy - so sorry about your grandmother. Like pp said, even when it's expected it's still upsetting.

I'm late to this, but oooh oooh I'll be in DE in July! :)

  • Ha, it would be awesome if we had a Delaware GTG. Take that, all you more glamorous states that take more than 15 minutes to drive through!

  • Seriously. And the only people that could come are the ones that know that DE is its own state and not in Pennsylvania.

  • Which means that if the Knot were a person, it would not be allowed to come, considering that we have to have Philadelphia written next to our names.

  • Exactly. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong in the beginning, but no. Delaware just doesn't exist to TK

  • Morning ladies! I will be fighting the laundry monster all day since I put it off yesterday to spend the day out and about with the dudes.

We had a great date night last night and saw Avatar. It was really great. I agree with Sarah. It was totally predicatble, but still really awesome. I have to say that after seeing it, I can't believe I was considering taking Ben. It would have scared the bejesus out of him.

On another note. If these errors were a person, I would follow it home and spray paint it's house to say something like "EAT BALLS!" Then I would key it's car and feed it's dogs exlax.
  • Mmm my food was yummy and DH is pleased that he has coffee (since we were out of milk).

cew - I enjoyed Avatar. Even though it's a combination of, like, 15 older movies, I enjoyed it. I don't really read into movies, though.

And I thoroughly agree about tk. I think it's super crappy that it broke on Friday afternoon and that they haven't really tried to fix it (or so it seems).

[QUOTE]How is everyone? What are you up to today? I just woke up from a night of crazy, crazy dreams. The last one involved me getting it on with this friend I had in Austin who was really into me but I never had any interest in sleeping with. I was also complimenting his sense of style. Weird and disturbing. Today, not much planned besides watching more Lost. I think DH is finally going to go see Avatar. I'm passing on that one because 3D stuff often triggers migraines for me.

That is an amusing/concerning dream! I hate having sex dreams about people that I have no interest in whatsoever- always highly disturbing!

I just woke up from totally bizarre dreams myself. I was dreaming that whenever I'd go to sleep, I'd wake up months later, not remembering anything bar the day before even though I'd apparently lived normally through all those days. So the dream progressed years in a few 'days'. The last part of the dream, I woke up and was told that I was presenting at an online diary conference about the diary I've kept. Because I couldn't remember anything about it, I had to make up something on the spot. I was trying to figure out why I kept forgetting things and realised that for some reason it was because I was dying. Bizarre, bizarre dream!

On the upside, at least it wasn't another night of freaky dreams and seeing things upon waking. I think I was a little dehydrated last night, thus slept through the night (highly unusual for me) and was (or for that matter, I am still) really groggy when I woke up.

  • Whoa, Sun. Your dream went well beyond the craziness of mine! I would be totally groggy after something that long and intense as well.

Sometimes I dread going to sleep, because my dreams are so intense that it feels like I've spent the whole thing awake anyway- except sort of worse, because usually when I'm awake I'm not feeling as stressed as I do in many of my dreams!

How are you, Jules? What are you up to? I gather that I was a little late to this thread, judging by the time on my post!

  • My sleep is the same way, especially lately. Last night I kept kinda waking up, realizing I was dreaming and then I would fall right back into another one. So annoying!

I'm pretty good. Took a nap to make up for the lack of sleep last night. Then I worked on cleaning and organizing the apt. Christian was out at the movie so I got a little time to tackle his nasty desk and shelving unit without him around to protest. Now we're just chilling on the couch watching Lost. We're both a little sore from our first yoga class yesterday. I guess that means we got a work out though so I'll take it.

What's going on with you? Besides ridiculously huge and nasty looking spiders! Did you get your hair cut yet? I missed seeing the pictures in your poll the other day.
  • Nope, no hair cut yet, will be later today- I was just looking for more ideas. I am SO uncertain. Part of me likes my hair long, and part just wants to change it up... given that when I did have the pictures up the votes were even, I guess it's not due to being clueless that I'm so uncertain!

Oh yoga, how was it? I've never tried it before.

  • I liked the yoga much more than I thought I was going to. In the beginning, the instructor had us sitting there while she read from the yoga sutras and tried to get people to say what yoga meant to them and that had Christian and I rolling our eyes. But once we got into the physical stuff, I liked it. We have 3 more sessions of this beginner series so we'll see how it goes.

I'm sure however you cut your hair it'll be cute. Do you trust your stylist? Could you just give them semi-free reign?

I really want to chop all of mine off into a pixie cut but I can't afford the upkeep of having to get it cut on a regular basis right now.
