TGIF indeed! Not sure about the weekend but we will definitely take advantage of the nice weather. We want to go to my uncle's lake house but he hasn't called us back. Maybe we'll just show up.

Tonight we're laying low, maybe go to Happy Hour.

Seeing my best girl friends for a much needed Saturday night out! We're either going to go to a fondue place or a Korean BBQ place where you cook your own meat. Both sound good to me! And then Sunday I'm going to wallow in the fact that I start class on Monday.

I'm (probably) going to a funeral today:(

Tonight we move into mom and dad's while they're away at my aunts. We're looking after their 2 labs, 2 cats and my pugs til Wednesday. It should be interesting.

Then drinks tonight for my buddy's b-day.

Tomorrow is the last Saturday some of my girlfriends are in town before they head back to school so we're throwing an old school "High School" party at my parents! LOL Coolers and silly music and the like. OH! And one of my BFFs (from my drunken university days) it stopping by on his way through. wo0t!

Sunday I work and then..iunno!

In all seriousness, Paige I'm sorry to hear about the funeral.

Tonight FI is working at the firehouse from 6pm to 6am (after working the day job from 8:30-5) so the little man and I will be running errands and hanging out. Tomorrow we are heading to Columbus for FI's nieces 1st birthday party. Sunday will probably be pretty laid back, church and maybe hitting up a local food festival... we'll see.

My best friend from college is currently involved with childrens' theater, and landed a leading role as Wilber in "Charlotte's Web." This is her first lead and I'm going to support her. I'll probably be the oldest person there (who doesn't have a kid), but whatever.

I haven't seen her since May and I miss her a lot. We live kind of far apart, so I'm driving down on Saturday night, taking her out to dinner and then spending the night at her place before the show on Sunday afternoon.

Sunday night is the Emmys! My mother and I always watch the Big Three (Emmys, Golden Globes, Oscars) together, so from my friend's house, I'm going to her place to have dinner and watch the show!

The biggest thing is getting BF packed. He hasn't done a damn thing in days and I refused to help, because "helping" translates into "doing it for him". AHH 5 DAYS!!!

We are getting our house in order. I need to get all better because I'm tired of being sick.

We have 2 goodbye parties this weekend. We have 3 good friends moving across the country soon. Booo.

Driving about 5 hours each way for wedding stuff, my friend better love me.

Going shopping in Buffalo for said wedding stuff.

Edit: I don't mean to be so negative, life has just been overwhelming lately and my friend's wedding just feels like an added stress right now. Nothing she is doing, just me trying to figure out how to fit it all in.

Tonight I might buy a new vacuum. They have a nice lime green one on sale near me.

Tomorrow morning I have Zumba class. My mom, my brother and I are going to the Consol Energy Arena Open house. I am really hoping they have the locker rooms open so I can get a picture sitting on the bench. Then Saturday night SO and I are going out to dinner, I would like to look for a new dress because we are going to a wedding to go to on the 12th.

Sunday I will be cleaning out my closets again. I am moving in December and I want to get rid of the stuff that I don't use anymore. I may make a nice "Sunday Dinner" I have been craving apple cake recently so I may make that. 9pm Sunday night = True Blood, MmmMmmMm Eric!!!

OMG Friday.

I'm so excited. Though, I shouldn't be...mostly my weekend will consist of homework. I am remembering why I chose to pursue Philosophy instead of Education during my undergrad.....SO MUCH paperwork, SO MANY deadlines, SO MUCH RESPONSIBILITY! .....my week has been nuts. Also, I haven't been around much, and probably won't be as much until my semester settles into more of a routine ... :P (/rant)

This weekend I have to work, and study, but FI and I are going to a friend's end-of-summer bash that he has every year, on Sat. night....and might sneak in a game of tennis or at least a long walk in between studying on Sunday. Graduate work is for the birds. Hope everyone else has an enjoyable end to their week though!!

Grocery shopping sometime this weekend, Church on Sunday and working on crafts - my mom and I have a couple of craft shows coming up in October and November (just day shows at a rec center and one at our church), but I have done nadda for them, so I need stop looking at wedding stuff and do some NWR crafts.

One of our best friends is coming into town! We're extremely excited!

Usually people come to visit Miami and ask if they can stay with us, which ends up making us feel like a B&B. Or they expect a super exciting vacation where we play tour guide and tag along to expensive restaurants and clubs when we don't have the budget or time for it since we're not on vacation. And they get annoyed that we have to do boring stuff, like grocery shopping, while they're in town.

But THIS friend is great! She's coming to spend time with US! She doesn't care what we do, if we go anywhere at all, she just wants to hang out! OH JOY, OH HAPPY DAY! I'm really, really, really excited! She was on our kickball team when BF and I first met, so the three of us all met each other at the same time. She was the first one to know we were dating several months later. BF and I have both talked about having her be the officiant for us when we get married. She's THAT cool!

I'm heading out camping in the next couple of hours. I have a 4 day weekend this weekend so BF and I decided to get out of town and camp further away. Normally we stay pretty close to home as we have mountains with a 30 minute drive but deicded that since we've got the time, we'll use it this weekend.

BF is getting LASIK tomorrow, so that's pretty much our whole weekend. I might also try to go help my sister move. She is getting a divorce and moving into her own apartment. This will be her first time living alone since she went from living at our parents house, to moving in with her husband after they got married, so it'll be quite different for her.

Working, boo. And trying to enjoy my last few days of a full summer vacation ever.

Only thing I will miss about school. Kind of freaking out that this is my last semester of grad school though (things are not looking good for local libraries and I'm pretty tied down here).

BF and I are hopefully going to see "The Girl Who Plays with Fire" tonight! He needs to meet his study goal or I'm not letting us.

Jemmini- I got LASIK done back in July. Best decision ever. It really only took me out for the span of a three hour nap and then I was all good to go.

Cate, Sounds like your friend is pretty awesome... hope you guys have a great time!

Jemmini, I was in the same boat a couple years ago... it's a huge change and a bit scary to know that the first time your going it alone but it will make her feel strong and independent once she proves that she can do it. Best of luck to your sister!
