..awesome guests :)

There has been alot of complaining about guests adding dates, children, children and their SOs, not getting the RSVP in on time, etc... many problems. 

So, I just want to brag on one of my guests. 

She has a 1.5 year old and a 1 month old. She said "DH and I can come, we're bringing baby and leaving toddler home".. YAY! finally someone who does not want to bring their one year old :) If the kid is immobile, I'm good with them coming, but if they can schooch, crawl, etc, a wedding reception is not really the place for them, even if it's a morning wedding like ours.

(And I also thought these guests wouldn't be able to come, so I'm super excited about that too!)

    That's great! With the exception of about 10 guests who did not RSVP we didn't have anyone trying to add people.

    I have had a couple of PITA guests but I can't complain like a lot of girls have been able to. We even had one guy who is the most considerate guest I've ever heard of - he's only 23 and has only been to one other wedding, and his invitation was addressed "and guest" so he could bring someone. When he got it he still called FI and said "Hey man am I supposed to bring a guest to your wedding? I know some people do that but I know that stuff gets super expensive so I understand if not! I just wanted to make sure!" 

    I was floored and so happy for his consideration.

    I had pretty good luck with my RSVP's too.  I was able to read everyones hand writing and no one added guests.  I had 5 couples not RSVP but got in touch with them within a week of the deadline.  As we have a lot less guests then we thought I asked a few people who we didn't invite with dates if the wanted to add a date and i told them male or female is fine. One asked if she could bring her 10 year old daughter.  We said no children!!!  That was the only complaint.
