Inexpensive DJ in Santa Cruz? (I know, I know, that's barely Central)

Can anyone recommend a good DJ in the Santa Cruz area?

We're hoping to keep it under $800. Otherwise, I think it'll have to be an iPod...

    I'd for sure post this on the NorCal board.  If anything, it'd be cheaper for a DJ to travel from, say, San Jose to Santa Cruz than from Central Cali to Santa Cruz.  Good luck!

    surcingles:  Rock Bottom DJ is out of Monterey, and his rates are reasonable.

    Does UCSC have a music program?  Can you hire a college student to DJ?  Check craigslist and put in a "wanted" ad.  See if the person has another gig you can check out.

    Ipod weddings are not very fun :(

    Look up Panda DJ's. They are mostly out of the Fresno area, but are really workable. Let Russ know that Zanne refered you.
