My best friend is throwing us a baby shower. It's going to be small, intimate, coed, with booze, sans games, and generally as unlame as possible for a baby shower. She throws the best parties ever, so I know it'll be fun.

I talked to my SMIL about this today, and asked her for a guestlist. We talked in length about the event being small and intimate. She just sent me a list, it has 21 people on it.

It's like the wedding all over again.

Shoot me.

I'm just a few weeks behind ac and the baby of the E pg crew. It does feel pretty long, I guess. But sometimes I can't believe it's 2010 already!

Heh, Sascha, I actually turned down a separate shower she wanted to throw for me today. She's super sweet, but his family treats showers, bdays, weddings, etc. like family reunions. It's uber awkward to sit around with a bunch of women I don't know and open gifts they got for me.

Sucrets, I'm calling girl. Since tide had a girl, and AC and I are having boys, you'll need to have a girl to even us out

When my SIL had a baby shower there were 75 people there. Thats how many were total at my wedding. She did get a Bugaboo though...although it got stolen from her car while she was at work.

See, I wouldn't have asked for a guest list. I would have had my H tell me which family members he thought should be there. Since it's small and intimate, you would only pick the ones you're both the closest to.
