Bella Blooms Booked--Florist Recs?

Hey ladies,

Sadly, Bella Blooms is booked for my wedding day (June 25 of this year). I really just need my bridal bouquet and something special for the mothers, as we have made other arrangements for all of the other flowers.

Any recommendations? TIA!

Try Fat Cat Flowers.  She has great ideas and prices!  You can also check her availability on her website.  www.fatcatflowers.com

I just sent an email to Fat Cat. I loved the pics she had online. Thanks for sharing!

I'm using Kori's, she's located in Metairie. So far everything has been great.

I'm using Kori's too!  She is really nice and has great ideas.  I thought it was reasonable prices too!  She did my brother's wedding a couple years ago and they were great to work with.

Diem, from Bella blooms is incredibly talented, but by far THE most expensive florist that I contacted for my wedding.  She also only really likes to work with high dollar weddings and will say she is "not available" if you don't have a big flower budget.  Just my experience.  Christina O'Malley was wonderful to work with and was really able to work within my budget...gave me exactly the same flowers quoted to me from Bella Blooms for 1/3 the price.  I'd much rather pay $850 for flowers than $2500.  Christinaomalley@cox.net

Ya know, I was kind of thinking that her response was suspicious. When I originally contacted her, she said she was available, and when I followed up with her about 2 weeks later (and told her I'd only be needing bouquets), she said she was booked. I was so disappointed! I didn't think that it would take much of her time to create a few simple bouquets...but oh well, I suppose.

I've contacted Christina O'Malley, and I would love to see pics of her work.

That is exactly what happened to me.  I heard that's what she does.  I don't think she'll work for less than $2000.
