Wedding Party

Wedding party gifts

I'm trying to think of a unique gift idea for my bridesmaids... something other than the typical jewlery, bags, shirts, etc.  Any ideas?

Re: Wedding party gifts

  • Shop like it's their birthday, and don't try to get them matching gifts.
  • i think everyone enjoys a little pampering....I am gifting my bridemaids with certificates for a massage.

  • What would you normally buy them for holidays or their birthdays?  This really isn't any different.  It's a present.

  • Thank you, that's definitely a better way to think about it.
  • Do not get them a pampering gift if they don't like manis and pedis. Do they normally do this on their own time? If you get mani pedis the day before, it's more of a wedding related "gift" and people here frown upon that. Shop like it's their birthday. What do they like?

  • on ebay i got my girls:

a personalized tote bag which i will put a personalized wine glass with their initial, the wedding colors, the wedding date, and polka dots, and i also got them a keychain with their name on it because i LOVE keychains and collect them, so i thought it would be cool! i may make t-shirts for our whole bridal party but i'm not sure yet....

try going onto ebay and searching "bridesmaids gifts" and see what comes up!

  • I know this probably sounds like a stupid question--but what is a decent amount to spend on my bridesmaids?  I didn't buy their dresses, but I did buy their jewelery.  I am just so confused on where to start.  Any advice/ideas would be appreciated!!
  • Whatever you would normally spend on a gift for them.  I know that's probably not terribly clear but it's the best answer I can give.  There's no "set" amount since everyone's budget is different; $50 may be inexpensive for one person and way too expensive for another.
