As long as I could make it to church at some point I would probably go.

My family isnt that religious, but the woman at one of the places said you wouldnt think a lot people observe palm sunday, but they do and we would get a lot of no's.  So my Mom is thinking that Saturday.  What is the opinion of Saturday showers?

eh, depends on your guest list. If you have a lot of church goers...probably.

I think you will be fine.  If you plan for a 1pm or 2pm instead of doing a Brunch you should be fine. Do you have a lot of OOT guests.

I think Saturdays are fine, I've been to a Saturday.
Or you can do Sunday mid-afternoon where I would assume people would have had time to attend mass earlier in the day. My church's last mass on a Sunday is either 1 or 2pm so I think you are ok.

why does it have to be this sunday?  i would change it to the week before or after.

If you can do a Saturday that would work, mine was a Saturday as well, week after wouldn't thats easter :)  As for Palm Sunday like the girls said if you did it later most people would probably go, people typically just go to the mass.

I would probably do it the Sunday before Palm Sunday or the Saturday.  I've been to both Sat and Sunday showers and since I knew in advance, I planned my schedule around attending the shower.

My shower is on Palm Sunday.  It was the only day that worked for all that needed to be there.  Most of the guests are Jewish and the Catholic people are not overly religous so we are hoping it won't be a problem.
