Wedding Ceremony Violinist

Hello!

I am getting married in Quincy on 10/23/10 and would LOVE to have a violinst play during our ceremony.  Does anyone have any local contacts?  I am also open to hiring a student at Berklee or the Conservatory.

Thank you for your help!

We are looking for a guitarist for our ceremony and last week I put a free ad on the Berklee gig page and got a ton of responses.  You should definitely try there!

Oh, and I should mention that not all of the responses we've gotten are from Berklee students.  Some are alumni, professors, or professional musicians that use the board to find gigs.

Date twin! Nice! Where in Quincy are you getting married?

I'm not sure if when you say "the Conservatory" you mean Boston or New England, but I work at The Boston Conservatory and am having a few students play at ours that same day. Check out this page for more info --

There is a form you can fill out and your "gig" will go out in a weekly e-mail to our students, who will contact you. It's spring break this week, so responses might be a little slow, but I'm sure you'll get some responses anyway!

    HTH :)

    Hi,

Just wanted to offer info on a violinist in the area:

    Jennifer Stevenson
    jenniferstevenson81@yahoo.com

She is a sweetheart, has reasonable pricing (usually under $200), has a big selection of music and she will learn material as well.

She is in Somerville, so close by.  She has been playing in weddings since she was 12 and playing violin since she was 4!
