Jersey Shore Venue Recommendations

Does anyone have any wedding venue recommendations for the Jersey shore? I have been to Merri Makers, in Seabright, NJ for several weddings of friends and relatives so that one is out.

I have always wanted a beach wedding let me know thanks!!

P.S. the reception will be on the beach as well.

We are getting married (next week!) at The Channel Club in Monmouth Beach. So far they have been very positive to work with, and they have given us so much value for not a lot of money! Our ceremony will be outside on their pier, but our recpetion will be indoors.

Not sure what beach you want to stay around but Ocean City has the Flanders Hotel and it is gorgeous. Cape May also has so many great places for beach weddings.

We got a very good deal ~ $74 a person before tax & tip..... but keep in mind we only booked 5 months before the wedding date.
Allie (akmackay) on here also used them and might be able to quote you her price.

If you go to a bridal show at the Channel Club they tend to work with you on their prices. I went and they would've given me 72pp for a Friday in the beginning of Nov.

You could try the Breakers in Spring Lake. Its right on the beach, but the reception is indoors. I also wanted a beach wedding, but decided I didn't want to get sand on my dress so we're getting married at the Crystal Point Yacht Club in Point. Its on the water, but minus the sand.

I got married at the Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch. You can have both your wedding ceremony and reception on the beach with them, or chose to move your cocktail/reception onto their beachside patio, or even indoors. While I will warn you that they are NOT easy to deal with during the planning process, the day of...they were great.

McLoone's Pier Village, also in Long Branch allows weddings on the beach, but I believe they only do indoor receptions.

Hi, you can also try the White Sands (it's a hotel too - I think it's in Point Pleasant) and Windows on the Water/Surfrider in Seabright. I remember reading on here that Windows on the Water is going to undergo renovations, but I'm not sure when. The ceremony site was beautiful though. When we looked at the White Sands, the salesman was a little too pitchy and turned us off, but the food is very good. I attended a bridal shower there once and was impressed.

We're getting married at the Water's Edge next month. Good luck!

I was a Saturday in May and paid just over $100 pp pre-tax & grat at Channel Club- remember Heather's is a Friday night for $74 and Denise $72 is a Friday in November. So, obviously for Friday/Sundays they will be less. Just wanted to point out that if you want a Saturday prime time they are more.

Great thank you! I am not engaged yet but I think its coming very soon so I was just browsing around at places :) We talk about getting married in June or July of 2012 I know those are the most expensive months but my BF is a teacher so we really dont have any other choice if we want to go on a honeymoon right away which we do. I am open to a Friday wedding as well as a saturday night depending on what we can afford when that time comes.

Check out a few places in Long Branch - I also got married at Ocean Place - also echo they are not fun to deal with...but it is a beautiful location. In any case - the Avenue and McLoone's in Long Branch also do beach weddings :)

Does anyone know anything about Windows on the Water in Sea Bright? We went to see it yesterday and they are completely renovating it. It will be ready in April and it seems like it's going to be amazing.

    Thanks : )
