What type of pen should I use to write on my sand dollars I'm using for escort "cards"?

I don't want the ink to bleed onto the sand dollar....

We used the sharpie pen for all wedding stationery - invitations, envelopes, TY cards, EVERYTHING..

having said that, a paint pen might work better? try one and see (hope you have extras?).
