Getting in Shape

AW: down 10 pounds on WW

I loooove weight watchers. I've been trying to "diet" since August 2011. I also got a personal trainer at that time. I was eating all healthy foods.

I started WW two weeks ago, and noticed with counting points. I'm actually eating more! I was eating far too little and my workouts were clearly not effective.

Now I have more energy and longer workouts. And it's paid off with 10 pounds lost in 14 days!

I seriously feel if I can do it anyone can!

  • I'm super jealous. Been on WW since May of last year and I've only lost about 15. =/

I have a thyroid condition though, and I'm on BC, plus I have had a few bad weeks where I didn't track (holidays), but I still think it's a great program, hence why I still pay for it and go to meetings.

  • em- I have thyroid issues, too!  It makes weight loss so hard!  I'm sure you've heard this a zillion times, but if you are on synthroid don't eat grapefruit/juice (it's interferes with the medication) and be sure you wait a full hour to eat after taking it (or wait two hours after you've eaten to take it) other wise your body won't absorb the medication--I learned the hard way and my numbers got crazy!

<div>I always get up an hour earlier than I need to be up, just for this reason! Occasionally I eat then take it, but usually when I try this, I forget about it, so I don't use this method too often. </div><div>
