Asian MUA?

My friend is getting married in a few weeks and her makeup trial went horrible!  She is Korean, and the beautician applied really heavy eye makeup like for a caucasian lady going to a nightclub.  My friend said the eye shadow went out past her eyebrows all the way to the hairline!  I don't care what race you are, that sounds extreme for wedding day makeup.   

Poor thing is panicking now.  Anyone know any MUA that has experience with Asians?  She has been told a lot of local Asian brides will fly to LA and back on their wedding day for a good Asian MUA.  That's a bit unreasonable.  What if your flight was cancelled?!? 

Things went so bad that she'd really feel most comfortable with a MUA that is Asian, just so she knows the MUA understands how to apply makeup for her eye shape.

    Lori White has a lot of experience with Asian brides.  I believe she said she actually used to work for a Japanese company as a MUA.

    I'm Asian and could not have been happier with Francesca L! She made me look so amazing, and people even said I looked more "Asian" than I usually do because of how she did my eye make up. I loved it! You can always show my pics to your friend if you want. They're on my married bio.

    You can try Makeup to Remember.  Veronica is awesome.  One of my bridesmaids is Asian and her makeup looked fantastic.  She's got a photo gallery on her site too.

    Who was her trial with?  Did she bring inspiration photos?  I'm half Asian and using Harmony in 12 days.  I'll certainly let you know what I think as I'm not going for anything extreme.
