2 MOH

Is anyone having or been to a wedding with 2 MOHs. I have two very close friends one from high school and one from college, they have met a few times but I usually hang out with them seperately. I want them both to be MOH. Would this be weird? I don't know if I would have both of them stand on the altar with me or both of them give speeches at the reception. I don't really want to cause problems between anyone and don't know how to go about having both girls be my MOH. Any thoughts?

I was a BM in a wedding last summer and she selected two girls to be MOH.  I've seen it done too when the bride has 2 sisters.  I don't think its a big deal.  You can either have 2 best men or else the BM escortes both ladies down, one on each arm.  The ones I have been to in those cases had both ladies give a short speach or in the case of sisters they wrote and delivered it together.  But that could be up to them - if one is too shy you don't have to make her or if they both want to say something thats great - just ask them to think about keeping in on the shorter side since you'd love to have them both say a few words.

You can certainly have two MOHs.  As for speeches-maybe one is more comfortable with public speaking and would rather do it than the other.  There is nothing wrong with two maid of honors!

You can definitely have 2 MOH's. I like the pp idea of just having one speak who is more comfortable with it OR what about having both of them (if they want to) saying something short and sweet? I think that would be very nice.

My daughter had a matron of honor, a maid of honor and a bridesmaid.  No one complained.
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!

I'm doing 2 MOH's, my sister and my best friend and he's doing two BM because he has two really close friends from college so it worked out for us.  The only one who's said a thing about it is my mother who thought it was a bit strange but she's pretty old fashioned... I say it's your wedding, do what you want.  Oh, we're also having 2 others in the BP as bridesmaids so it's 2 and 2.

I am thinking of having my sister as my matron of honor and my bff as my maid of honor too.  my sister also lives half across the country so for me of course i want her as my MOH but my bff is here to do the MOH things that my sister (married with 3 kids and husband in the army) may not be able to do.
a little drama in the family but it all works out and i want them both to give a speach bc they are such different yet important people in my life.
I have 3 other bridesmaids as well.

I'm also having 2 MOH's. My sister and my best friend. My sister and I had a really really big fight(We won't get into that), after the things she did she shouldn't even be in the wedding party. But to keep the peace between everyone she will be a Co-MOH. My best friend is the main MOH, but my sister will be helping her out. It will all work out in the end. :) ........I hope. haha

We are having 2 MOH and 2 best men. You don't have to have two best men with 2 MOH, that is just how it worked out. It has worked out wonderfully so far, they are getting along and helping each other plan. I actually think it is better to have two because it is a lot of work for one person. GL!
