Getting in Shape

Can we do a things we hate about the gym post?

k

  • sweaty people that don't wipe down the machines
  • the fact that our gym can't seem to regulate the heat and it was ungodly humid yesterday and I had issues just running a mile without wanting to pass out
  • creepy old men
  • weird young men trying to lift more than you to make themselves feel better (don't check what I am lifting and then up yours.. do what you can do)
  • getting on the one treadmill (with tvs attached) that tv will not change off of the religious channel
  • butt sweat

now your turn!

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Can we do a things we hate about the gym post? :  Also, I hate to see people reading books while taking a leisurely stroll or ride on the bike cycle, essentially turning the bike into an easy chair. I mean that's all you came here to do? You call that a workout? Move out of my way, I came here to sweat.

I take a book with me because I am full time college student, working and planning. And I get where you are  coming from since it's a place to sweat, but sometimes people have to do what they need to do to get things done. Plus most of the time it's a way not to think about what's going on. I read like 5 chapters in a novel while on the bike and rode 8 miles. It's just something to help them focus and not want to give up. Sorry if it's snarky, it's just how I feel about that.
