    I'm hangin' with the dog as J and my brother beginning the smoker for tomorrow. Its an all nighter type thing apparently.

    haha! I wish. No, like, a cooking smoker. lol. It is J's bday this weekend so we are having a bunch of people over and he is smoking a 17 lb pork shoulder. Apparently it takes like 839482983 hours.

    ETA: People over tomorrow haha not right now.

    I love smoked meat. J is getting SUPER into it. He watches that BBQ Masters show on TLC and is now determined to be one of the best out there, haha. I'm just glad that he likes to cook because I despise it.

    It's a clever name for a martini. I had 2. The place rocks. It's like a bar that you can bring your dog to. Tomorrow I'm going to Korean BBQ for a friend's birthday and I can't wait! Edited: ever to clever

    I have a little stovetop smoker.  I made smoked salmon in it.  I'd like to do smoked chicken breast, but H hates that.

    It will be a fun party, Mica! :) He is putting some really yummy ingredients into a rub for the flavoring and putting some kind of flavoring to inject into the meat as well. mmmm I can't wait.

    My friend from school who is from AZ thinks we are crazy up here because we *gasp* ACTUALLY GRILL in this weather.

    It was way on the other end of the teller line from me, so it was just neat.But I did watch my mom get a chunk of her nose taken off by a Macaw she was taking care of for her boss once.

    Like a literal chunk? yikes. We only had dogs ever in our bank. And those were guide dogs. One blind guy that worked near the bank always came in with his german shepard and the dog was SO freaking cute and sweet.

    There are a bunch of dog-friendly bars in Tampa.  There's one that's within 4 blocks of our new house.  I should take Berkeley.  She likes beer and drunk people.

    I want to get canvas prints made, but I can't decide which pictures!

    Mica, how's your new home. We are looking to sell our small condo and buy a single family home. We'll end up with a foreclosure because there are so many. I just want a home with a yard and a garage...that's hard to come by in the city.

    Thanks Mica! I am thinking of somehow making it a focal piece with some other wedding pics after we order them. We got a 6 piece wall set of frames so I will probably use those with it as well. I really love this picture because I think it captured a moment that really represents us together well. We're always laughing with each other.

    Our home is great... except its garage was converted by the previous owners into a guest house.  H isn't thrilled with that, although we do have a lot of driveway space, enough for 4 cars.  Once we unpack completely, I'm sure I'll like the house more.  Right now I feel unsettled.  Also, it's just too big for two people. 

    Luckily, my mother says she's sending my piano to FL for the house.  That'll help use up some space and make the place feel less empty.
