Clearly, I'm terrible at leaving when I say I will
I've been drooling over some dishes for a few weeks. They're unique, but still in a neutral colour but with a neat design. They're currently on sale, and I have a $90 gift card to the store.
Now, I don't need dishes right now. At all. But I love them. So, would you buy them if you were in my shoes?
Re: Would you buy this?
You have a picture?

P.S. I'm glad you're not good at leaving...
I realize they aren't for everyone... but I adore them
I suppose I just feel silly buying dishes when my family already has some. But I'm going to need them at some point, and they can still be used now.
BF has been telling me for weeks to just buy them already since it's clear I want to. I'm trying to think of any downsides first.
Are they dishwasher/mcirowave safe?

Even without seeing the pic, though, with $90 toward them, if I loved them, I'd probably go for it.
Uhm, you just went through (are going through) a crappy, sad time. Buy something pretty right now. RIGHT NOW. The less practical the better.

Ha! I love this logic ;)
But re-read my last post on here... :)
Hrm...BF? As in....current?
Posted by csousa1
I feel like too much of an AW if I post an update, so yes, current it is.
I can afford the dishes Plus, I want to get some father's day stuff as well.. might as well roll it into one?
But inquiring minds want details on the relationship, since many around here want to support your decisions!

But, but.....we want you to be an AW!!
Ladies, amirite??
Deets, por favor....
Apparently, we're terrible at breaking up because we spent the past few days talking about what happened. I realized then that he had no idea what was going on because I hadn't bothered to say anything to him. Once we both got all of that out in the air, we decided it was worth another shot. Basically, it was poor communication.
Seriously though, I absolutely love them. And yes, please update us on the BF stuff too! (or just start a new thread)
Also, BUY THE DISHES! Seriously. It sounds like a great deal, and I think they're pretty.
Life is good today.
YAYA!!! That is good Bren!
We need more details. And a new AW post now!

Explain, please!
Re: dishes? If they will make you happy every time you look at them, buy them. Life's too short.
And I'm glad you worked things out with BF.
It's a Christian store, but not all of the pieces in the collection have explicitly religious messages on them. They have cute placemats that say "love and laughter gather here" for example.
And yey for better communication!
