Navy and Brightish (Gerbera Daisy) Orange although my FI said its going to look bad, but he's color blind so I think it'll just look bad to him.

No these colors are perfect together. They were going to be my colors (with a hint of pink) before we decided on a DW. I'm in love with gerber daisies :)
