Hi ladies,
First off, I am very excited to be able to be posting here! After almost 8 years my fiance proposed this past Sunday. We had already started looking into dates and venues as we knew that once we were officially engaged we wanted to have a shorter engagement in order to work around my school schedule.
It has officially been a week and what a week it has been!
We have:
-picked a date (October 6th)
-booked a ceremony site and found a priest to marry us
-booked a venue (which includes linens, catering, and bar)
-signed up for marriage prep classes
AND... today I just happened to come across a 50% sample sale at a local bridal salon, and FOUND MY DRESS!
next up: Guest list and invitations!
I look forward to becoming part of The Knot community!
