Re: Insomnia anyone?

  • I'm well. Just came home from work and having my chocolate fix. How are you?
  • I'm pretty good.  My brain is buzzing with stuff to do in the next 31 days.  I can't believe I also have my first 3 weeks of school too.  I am clearly insane.

  • 31 days... is that all you've got left?!
  • Yep, 31 days.

  • Wow, how exciting. How is it all coming together?

Don't stress about school. It's not as though you will want to be having time off to do nothing but wedding planning for thirty days, anyway- you would go insane.

At the end of the day, it's just a big party- don't let it stress you.

  • I am up watching Slumdog Millionaire and working. Ironically, I quit drinking caffiene on New Years, and have experienced the worst insomnia of my life ever since.

I understand school being stressful. I go back on the 11 and I am most certainly not looking forward to it. Good lock with your last minute planning, and I wish you a happy wedding.
  • Good choice with Slumdog!

I'm thinking I'll probably pop in a Scrubs DVD pretty soon here.  Insomnia?  Absolutely.

I guess it's hereditary.  My dad and most of his siblings have this problem too.  But I've learned to get by on no sleep since I was 13.

Good luck on all the planning!
  • Scrubs sounds like a good choice as well. I am now watching "Marie Antoinette" drinking hot cocoa and not looking forward to waking up at 8 am.

That doesn't sound like much fun. I used to have the same problem but for the last year or so I slept pretty sound..until a few days ago that is.
  • Night, I've got chronic, long-term insomnia that I'm on medication for. My doctor recently switched me to an anti-anxiety medication, thinking that might be causing my problems of going to sleep (my mind races when I lie down). Seems to be working.

Just thought I'd throw that in there.....

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
  • how can you have insomnia at 10:30 at night?
  • It was 12:30 here last night.  I had been trying to sleep since about 10:00.

  • I'm good.  It's been a long day.  Happy about getting my STDs  together.

I battle my insomia (when I have it) with Ambien.
