Ceremony Site near Brookfield, WI

Hello There,

We are having trouble finding a ceremony site for our Sept 2011 wedding.  We want to keep it near Brookfield, but we don't belong to a church, and don't want to go through a lot just to get married at one.  Does anyone have any ceremony places near by?? We have about 225-250 people coming, so it's hard to find a place that would accomodate that many people!

I'm sure you thought of this, but just in case... Where is your reception? Any chance they would have another room (or be able to repurpose your reception area) for the ceremony, too?

We are getting married at Queen of Apostles on Capitol Dr. near Pewaukee. It wasn't that much work to join and the priest is a real good guy. The church is beautiful and holds a lot of people. Ours will be similar in size. Maybe check it out?

We wanted to have the wedding at a different place besides where the reception is, as we didn't want to have stuff moved around.  I struggle with joining a church just to get married at one...I feel like that would be "bad".

Would Delafield be to far for you. I am getting married next year and we are getting married on Nagawicka Lake at the Seven Sea's Restaurant. To have an outdoor ceremony there is $250 for the uncovered garden and $500 for the covered patio. My friend Anne is the Event Manager there and would be happy to help you book the date if they have it available. She's wonderful!
