Bridesmaids Dresses and Color

Ever since I was little I have been absolutely certain that I was going to have a pink wedding but lately I like purple as well. I am having trouble deciding between the two as well as whether or not to incorporate a secondary color into the dresses. Here are a few pictures and I would love it if you guys could give me your opinions. For the pictures with two dresses side by side, the one on the left will be my BM's and the one on the right will be my MOH. Please do not make comments about my wedding being too far off to do any planning. I am not planning on purchasing anything now, I am just looking for opinions on color and style so that I can start brainstorming other ideas. 


My wedding is a spring wedding but I am not too concerned with seasonal colors. I just do not want my bridesmaids to look like Easter eggs.

For the photos with two in them, the one on the left would be my BMs and the one on the right would be my MOH.

The last two pictures are if I decide not to have a secondary color in the dresses.

    I think the dresses with the colored sashes do give the "Easter egg" look - I like either the all pink or all purple dresses.

    What about having them wear purple dresses and carry pink bouquets, or vice versa?  That way you are incorporating both the colors you want.

    I really like purple and gray.

    I think brown is a hideous color and I wouldn't want that on my bridesmaids.  But, I might alone in that opinion.

    I like pink and brown, but that is my favorite color combo currently.  The purple and gray is second to me.  I think that is a more unusual combination but I really like it.   The pink dress and the gray sash looks like an easter egg to me, but the gray with the pink looks good.
