help me be smart

in Wedding Woes
there is a pin on etsy that i want.  the seller is in latvia.  she has no previous sales.

however, no one is making anything like it.  it is only $14, and shipping is $2.50.

should i be her first sale?  am i making a big deal over $16.50?  or should i not be a sucker?

    that other one is not finished -- raw edges and such.  the one i want i made with ribbon and wouldn't fray.

    I am ashamed of you. You could make that easily. Better yet, you could make the second one with ribbon instead of fabric.

    Isn't someone here a bow champion?  Am I hallucinating reading that?  I would gladly pay a JoAnn lady $5 to make a ribbon for me and then hand-stitch on a bauble.  It would take 30 minutes, max.

    I like bow #2...but I really like ALL of AF's suggestions.  Especially the one where all the WWer's get a crack at it.  I think you should do that.  ;)
