T and I want a new Tv series to start renting and watching and we need suggestions. We've already done Arrested development, Chuck, HIMYM, Lost, Big Bang Theory, Scrubs and some others.
Comedy is prefereed :)

So tell me your favorites.

    I am not a big fan of comedy, so I don't have any suggestions. I haven't even watched any of the shows you listed!

    I enjoy Grey's and Private Practice. I watched all of SATC on DVD, but I'm not sure T would be too thrilled about that!

    21 Jump Street! It's available on Netflix on demand, and is such a great guilty pleasure, with all the high 80s fashion. And Johnny Depp is so young, he looks like a flower.

    Other than that, my taste in TV is decidedly unfunny. Well, House is funny. And I think it's funny when Jack Bauer kills people with his legs, but not everyone does.

    I used to watch occasional episodes of Greys and we even have a season of it.
    T would watch SATC but he wouldn't love it.

    I've just started watching house and I like it! T is not sold though (he hasn't given it a chance)

    I'm not a funny tv watcher either.  Buffy and Angel are always classics.  House, Dexter, Bones, Grey's, OOO! Ooo!  Watch Dr. Who!  Dr. Who!  I've solved it.  Dr. Who.

    30 Rock is great on DVD. I didn't watch it until this season, then realized I love it and had to catch up on seasons 1-3. I also have Wonderfalls on my Netflix queue next, so I'll let you know how that goes if you like. Did you ever watch Freaks and Geeks? It's only one season but it was a great show.

    For drama, if you never watched Alias, definitely get seasons 1 and 2. One of my favorite shows ever.

    N is a huge fan of Freaks and Geeks. He has it on DVD and occasionally bugs me to watch it with him. I haven't yet.

    Ooh also, I don't know if you're into animated shows (like Adult Swim stuff), but Venture Brothers is hilarious and a great throwback to the old superhero cartoons like Space Ghost and Jonny Quest.

    Well, the good news is, even if you don't end up liking it, there are only like 20 episodes to sit through. :) It's just a really good coming-of-age series, but not cheesy at all. The characters are great and really relatable.

    Weeds?  I'm behind a season or so, but I ended up liking it more than I expected when my friend made me watch it with her.  Even Scott got into it and I didn't think he would. 

    And I second Venture Bros, it that it your kind of comedy.  I was Dr. Girlfriend for Halloween once :)

    Haha, I tried, it didn't quite work.  Scott was going to be the Monarch, but that costume got really involved and we gave up.  :(  We have discussed Hank or Dean for the future though!
