What do you think of the ipad? Are you going to get one?DH actually got one for work and it arrived at the house the day it was released. It's really fun. It's really easy to use on the couch or in bed and you can watch your tv episodes on it....
Banana's birthday was yesterday....QUICK, what do you get her?I would get her a whistle and a paddle for breaking up arguments on the boards.
Twilight; yea or nay? I like Twilight, but I understand why others don't. I am not crazy about it either. I know it's bad writing and EMO to the EXTREME!!! And Ms. Stewart has to be such a bad actress in it! But I did have a dream last night that lasted for about 5 minutes in which I was Bella and Edward was happy to see me, and then my alarm went off. Yeah, really weird.....

What do you think of the ipad? Are you going to get one?I don't get the whole apple hype, so I try to keep a 10 foot raduis around the apple store in mall whenever I go.

Twilight; yea or nay?Yea and Nay. I read the books (even though I found them really difficult to read) and saw the first movie, but I thought the screenplay made Bella even more dumb than she seemed in the books. It was really hard to watch her be so outcastish and lame.

Great for viewing content, horrible for creating any content. FI tried out an iPad at the Apple store and said his hands hurt after typing 2 sentences.

Are you going to get one?
No. We already have way too many pieces of electronic equipment in our place.

Eh. I saw the first movie on DVD at it was ok. Haven't read any of the books. I'm kind of turned off by all the teenage girl hype.

What do you think of the ipad? Are you going to get one? I don't know. I think it's a horrible name and it's my dream job to be a professional "namer" so, that makes me cranky. I could have done better, apple!! (fist shake).

Twilight; yea or nay? Nay. I don't 'get' it. I know, I know. Everyone always tells me there is nothing to get. I just take issue with the whole vampire physiology and how is it possible for her to get pregnant and for them to consummate the marriage.

I also think it's hilarious that Meyers is a Mormon. I don't know why, I just do. My mom tried to read the books because of that fact and my FMIL totally missed one of the point of the books and was like 'I thought she was Mormon? Why is Bella always wh*ring around?'

...sorry, it's early. I miss my days off, come back, Passover!

What do you think of the ipad? Are you going to get one? I don't get it. I saw stuff about it a couple months ago and it basically said "it's an ipad!" and not what it did or how it was different from anything else. From what I've seen this week, it looks like it's a good concept but without things like a USB port or a decent amount of memory, kind of pointless.

Twilight; yea or nay? a big fat nay. I read the first book and by the end, in the hospital, when Bella was all co-dependant and being like "please, make me a vampire so I can be with your fooooooreeeevvvveeeerrrr" I just about wanted to kill myself.

What do you think of the ipad? Are you going to get one? My FI thinks they're pretty awesome, but not worth the money. I have a Mac, and I love my computer, but I don't care either way about the ipad.

Twilight; yea or nay? Eh, mostly yea. I tore through the first 3 books, but when I got into the fourth, I got too weirded out and stopped. I know how it ended, but I never got all the way through.

And the movies...the first one was no good. I didn't even want to see New Moon because of all the hype and the craziness surrounding Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson (neither one I'm a giant fan of), but we just got it on netflix the other day, and I liked it better than I thought I would. So I'll probably stick with it till the end, just avoid the movies in the theatres.

What do you think of the ipad? Are you going to get one? I genuinely have no idea what it is beyond some kind of Apple computer-type thing. What makes it different from an iPhone or regular computer?

Jewelry and a tracksuit to wear to MY birthday party in August because seriously you guys, it's coming up so fast, and I just want everyone to be ready so I'm not stressing about it at the last minute. And I do not mean a terrycloth tracksuit, I mean an 80s, neon windbreaker tracksuit - it's my birthday after all, don't want anyone to look better than I do!

Bananas birthday? Happy birthday banana. I would get her a case of motrin for all the headaches caused by hearing "Can I kick out my BMs", "what gifts should I get them" and "Vent: my MOH is preggers"

Twilight? I'm a Harry Potter girl. After reading those books and seeing the movie I think I will do the same with Twilight (books before movie). Haven't quite gotten around to reading it yet though.

The ipad is EXACTLY like a kindle except that you can go on the web and do other things like email. I think the ipad (when appropriately priced) will overtake the kindle. But it doesn't have a camera or a phone....so no calling and no pictures can be taken. But we figure that if you have friends over, it's a lot nicer to show people a picture on the ipad rather than your iphone.

And Jagore, DH plays plants and zombies....although there's a level he doesn't like and it may deter him from it.

One guy I work with speculates that they'll release an "upgraded" version of the iPad that includes a camera further down the line, so that people will run out and buy a newer one. This is pretty much why I tend not to be an early adopter of technology: I wait for all the kinks to be worked out and the extra goodies to be added.

What do you think of the ipad? Are you going to get one? Eh ... I'm not totally sold on them ... but I'm actually not very into technology for as geeky as I am. I prefer the idea of a real book over a Kindle, I only got my first MP3 player after the wedding, and my phone only makes calls and texts (As in no FB or Googling from my phone) because I specifically picked a phone that doesn't do fancy stuff.

A tracksuit in my wedding colors with her name and "#1 Mod" written on it of course, lol. Ok, seriously, I'd give her a day of no whiney beebees (And maybe a specially designed referee t-shirt, hahaha)

Twilight; yea or nay? I've actually given the books and movies a fair chance, my general opinion is: great idea, a more talented author should have had it. It's very frustrating when every 5 seconds she says something awesome that you want her to actually expand upon (Like the other characters' pasts or the war between the factions) only to go back to her drooling over Edward for another 5 chapters ... or when there's a huge build up to something (Like the "battle" they spent all of Breaking Dawn preparing for) ... only for the actual climax to be lame and quickly and neatly resolved in a very unrealistic manner.

And the movies I can only "judge" so much, since the actual books are so limited in content worth focusing on. They did the best they could with what they had to work with.
