I like it too, but I must be heavy handed with it because it always makes me just a touch too orange for my complexion. My new obsession is Pure Radiance, because it's like a cooler bronze.

I've been into doing my nails again lately and wow have nail products changed since I was last buying them! in store fake nails now are WAY thinner and natural looking, and even come in every length including "super short" .
I'm also digging the non boring colors out, including Sally Hansen xtreme and CG boundless color.

For mascara Iately, I'm into the Covergirl  lashblast in the bright yellow tube, the one that's on all the ads. It stays pretty liquidy (no clumps). And I'm a redhead with the thinnest, shortest lashes so I'm pretty picky about my mascara :)

  • That Telescopic mascara is a no clump one - I adore it. I have really thin lashes, and it gets them all and extends them like no one's business.

Andress, you can also use the concealer brush and cover up a trouble spot, and the veil will "set" it.  But, using a primer before hand will really help it all to set into place.

For face cleaning, I use Cetaphil cleanser (sometimes the Target version of Biore cloths), and I LOVE Cetaphil cream.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew

When I feel like experimenting with new stuff, sometimes I'll buy e.l.f. (eyeslipface.com) stuff for $1-5.  It's not the greatest and it all wears off after about 4 hours, but it's so cheap it doesn't matter.

[QUOTE]I love love LOVE Bare Minerals.  The foundation-mineral powder stuff?  Oh my goodness.  I could wax poetic for hours about it.  Its completely cleared my skin up too.   LOVE.  I LOVE JemmaKidd Eyeliner pencils.  They're at Target.  Run now. I need a Sephora-level recommendation for a good blush for really   pale skin.  Everything I try makes me look blotchy.

NARS "Orgasm" (at Sephora) is supposed to be universally flattering. I did my friends' make-up for her bridal portraits last week. She is fairly pale and I used it on her. Barely needed to use any, so one blush will probably last forever.

  • I freaking love MAC foundation, it is the ONLY foundation I have been able to find that actually matches my yellow-as-hell skin undertones.  Also, their newest foundation (a water-based gel) is like, perfect for people who want the coverage level of a liquid without the heaviness of it.

I also am a big fan of Philosophy's Hope in a Jar moisturizer, and Clarisonic's skin care brush (it's making my skin super smooth).  I really like Bare Minerals' blush and eyeshadow because it's loose, and so it's easy to layer for me.

  • I use Cetaphil face cleanser. No more break-outs. Works better than all the expensive stuff I was getting at Sephora.

I did my friend's make-up for her bridal portraits last week and this is what we used. I tried to use all the best stuff that I know of. Most of it is from Sephora.:

Face Primer: Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer

Eye shadow primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion

Foundation: Make Up For Ever HD

Mascara: Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash

    Eyeshadow: MAC

    Blush: NARS (Orgasm)

    Eye-liner: Chanel Long Lasting

Translucent Finishing Powder: Make Up For Ever HD (but I also like MAC)

Lipgloss: Revlon Longlasting (but I also like Chanel and Benefit- they're not sticky and LipFusion for plumping)

I think that covers everything. She looked the best I've ever seen her. I can't wait to see the pictures.

Have you tried Covergirl Mineral blush? It's pretty sheer, so you can layer it on until you get the color you want
  • Raves:
Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moistruizer. LOVE.
    Philosphy's Purity Made Simple
    Clairsonic. All the way.
    Makeup Forever's clear powder
    Benefit Erase Paste
    Benefit Benetint
    Smashbox eyeshadow in Rapture
    Diorshow mascara
  • Forgot these:
    Wal-Mart brand makeup remover wipes
Neutrogena Grapefruit Scrub (in the morning)
Neutrogena Stress Relief Facewipes (bed time)
    Johnson's Cucumber Melon baby lotion
For lip stuff, I use Alba Coconut Cream Chapstick with a little bit of Sephora Fresh Gloss over it

Yes, definitely agree with those recommending NARS blush in Orgasm.  It's awesome.

I also love diorshow mascara (waterproof is the shiit), two-faced shadow insurance (it's a primer), maybelline trio or quad shadows, bare minerals black loose powder eyeliner, chanel corrector (spelled in some fancy way, of course) concealer, and clinique stay matte sheer pressed powder.
