So just to update we did decide to cancel our wedding in the Dominican. We are still trying to find an officiant to marry us on the 26th instead. The reception and ceremony venue is all taken care of just a matter of the officiant. We thought our church was going to be available but someone else booked it today right before we called.
Our reverand said he will see if we can work something out because he is awesome and we waiting to hear back from our mayor as well. Fingers crossed!!
MIL and FIL were very happy and greatful with what we decided. She is healing well and doing great so far! We are still waiting on the pathology. Gotta love living in the Isolated north!
