So my BMs haven't uploaded any pics yet but this afternoon was my bridal shower! I had such a good time and it was great to see my friends and family all in the same room for me! I am kind of disappointed in the turnout (21/44) especially since most of the no-shows were my cousins who's showers (wedding AND baby) I always went to. Several people who weren't able to come did send gifts with other family members though which was nice of them. Either way, I had a great time and felt so special! Plus FMIL and her two sisters got me my Kitchenaid standmixer! It was the 1 thing I wanted more than anything off my registry.
The shower definitely made the wedding feel very very real, which I've been waiting for. I've always known it was real, but we've been planning for so long that it never really felt real.
6 more thank you notes and I'm done! FI is off having is bachelor party tonight so I've been able to pound them out.
