  • Nutrition - I'm getting back into the habit of tracking everything via sparkpeople.  And it's eye openning esp with the holiday goodies everywhere.  I've been trying to stay within 1200-1500 calories... I have good days and bad days.  All in time though.  I'm just trying to getback into tracking before I start really making changes.

    Fitness - this cold has killed my fitness expectations.  My cold settled into my chest, so I really can't run.  I probably could today, but it's our anniversary and we're going out ot dinner.  I might do Zumba tomorrow and start back next week!

  • The last three days have been bad for me fitness wise, but I have surprisingly done an ok job on food. I actually probably ate less than I should have, but drank a ton of water. I need to get back into the habit of tracking what I eat.

    I am MOH in my best friends wedding in June and we are going to look at bridesmaid dresses today, which I am sort of dreading. And then I am worried about if I do lose weight and I've just bought this dress... all of that. So we shall see.

    Planning on doing 30DS this evening. Should have done it this morning but I got distracted by cleaning and now I have to leave.

    I'd see what's the lastest you can order the dress... but if bride wants it now, i'd get it in the size you are now.  I was MOH and did that.  I lost 15 pounds, but none from the tatas.  THANK goodness I got the size I was in, tatas fit, but I altered the rest down.

  • I did really good last week with fitness/nutrition, then I had a wine tour on Saturday so not so good. Sunday i didnt eat as much as I should have (5-6 small meals) but what i did eat was healthy and no working out. I went to an early dinner with a friend on Monday and totally skipped working out when I had no excuse as (a) dinner was early and (b) the gym was right next to where we went to dinner...oops
    Last night I worked out, but I ate Peanut butter m&m's, oops
    I do feel back on track, i havent weighed myself this week, im trying to get out of my head and away from the scale so im trying to do it once a week...

    I'm in one of my best friends weddings in June as well!  Luckily she doesn't want us to order the dresses until jan/feb so I have more time to drop some weight.

    Been doing well this week although I could be doing better.  Made it to my Zumba classes so far this week but not the gym for running & toning.  And while my food choices are not terrible I'm probably eating more then I should.  I go to a weekly support group for people who have had or contemplating weight loss surgery and the leader is focusing on maintaining our current weight during the holiday season instead of gaining (of course losing is also highly encouraged LOL).

  • I feel pretty good.  I just started getting back on track this week, and although I haven't worked out yet, I've been eating really good.  I'm trying to drink at least 3 glasses of green tea a day and a ton of water.  Trying to stay away from a lot of carbs and eating more veggies and fruits.  Hopefully I can do go tonight as it's our company Christmas dinner and we are going to a Brazilian Steakhouse, so it's going to be pretty hard to not eat bad!  I am hoping to start working out tomorrow and through the rest of the week.

  • I actually started eating healthier on Saturday. I've done pretty well except we had a little dessert/snack party at work yesterday. The cake pops did me in. But overall I'm doing much better than I have been.

    I need to improve in the exercise department. My plan is to start Saturday. I will be late at work tomorrow and Friday and I just don't see how it will be possible. Next week I'm not working so hopefully I will be getting to the gym and more active at home.

    We set the date for our Epics in February so that will give me a goal and timeline.

  • So between March and August, I worked really hard and lost 15 pounds (completely NWR).  Once I reached my goal weight, I stopped paying much attention to my food intake, and yesterday I discovered (surprise, surprise!) that I've gained back all but 4 pounds.  Frown

    Now I'm back on the wagon!  I've been running since March, so I'll be stepping up my training now, and hopefully sign up for a 5k to give me a little more motivation!  I've also started tracking all of my food intake again...I'll keep you posted!

  • Not so good this last month or so. I had actually gone to a BodyJam class at my gym Nov 1, with plans to make that a regular thing, then last month was just horrible for me and the week I was planning to start back I ended up sick with strep. And the crazy weather here is causing sinus problems for me.

    I did, however, get another workout DVD the other day. So hopefully I'll get my house clean soon and will be able to start using my various DVDs and XBox games to workout with. And I'm going to put more on my Bday/Christmas list for my mom (bday was beginning of the month but due to the situation last month wasn't able to get list to her in time).

    Thankfully though, my weight hasn't changed much (has actually been going down a little). And I haven't returned to my old eating habits either.

    I do have a good solid plan in place for beginning of the new year to really work towards getting in shape though. But I'm not worrying about it too much these next couple of weeks, I'm focusing more on my mental health and getting through the holidays.

    ETA: I found what looks like the original thred where everyone was signing up, and I posted there, but it doesn't look like there's been much activity there in recent weeks.  Is there another thread?
  • I haven't recently been posting here before but this looks like great motivation! I have been thinking of starting Weight Watchers next year, anybody have any helpful tips?
