First post! Need opinions please

Hi all! I've just finished my STD mock-up and need fresh eyes and opinions. I realized my 6 month mark is coming up remarkably fast, and this should probably be done. I'm planning on going the vistaprint route with large magnets. I've never worked with photoshop before, so this was a lot of work. I'd really appreciate any opinions and recommendations/corrections you may have.

Thanks! I'm excited to see what you think!
I hope the image works and isn't too large, I'm new at this :)

It's lovely.  But magnets are expensive, if your in a budget crunch you may want to look at other options.

I love it but if I could change one thing on it, I would make the Megan and Ryan font bigger and in a scripty font like the rest. You could keep the "The wedding of" part still the same but the names look spacey, especially since you have so much room there.

I love the swirly design! Good job!

Love the design! I'd probably just remove "the wedding of" and make the names bigger, like PP said.

oh! and don't forget to actually insert your website info.  (I did that with something on my STD and had to reprint them... no good.)

I think they look really good! Yea I would either remove "the wedding of" or add in "for" so it would read "Save the Date for the wedding of" if that makes sense. If you get coupons from VistaPrint and go with the free magnets it really is not all that expensive. We did 100 postcards and 75 small magnets from VistaPrint for about $30.

Thanks ladies! I've been tinkering with it using your suggestions. I think it looks a lot better. I was worried using a lot of scripted font would make it look...idk....more formal than what we're going for, but I was worried for nothing.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong to post PIP, I'd like to post new versions to be seen together. Does it matter that I'm using a Mac? TIA!

Super cute! Your engagement pictures are adorable! I definitely agree with PP about your names being bigger and adding "for" to the beginning of "the wedding of"

I have a mac and it still works for posting pics. All you have to do is click on the tree icon in the bottom of the post and upload a pic from your computer.

I would have to disagree with other that said you should take the "the wedding of" part off, I actually like that and have it on mine, see below.

Thanks veijes, I thought I needed to use the code from the FAQ, never thought it would be that simple lol.

Well here is what I've got, I'm not sure which one I like better, I've got different things bolded in each (I'd only do the save the date font bold but then our names blend in with the date and I think it looks too busy). I'm leaning towards the one with the date bolded because I like symmetry.

Which one do you guys think is better or more eye pleasing?

I like the second one with the date bolded for the same reason you do!

I think I like the first one more just for looks, but it is probably most important to have the date larger and bold.

Thanks for all the wonderful input everyone, so helpful! It looks like we're going to go with the second one. It's nice to have something actually done, just have to order them :)
