Hairstyles!

Let's talk hair.

I have my hair trial on Friday, and have no idea how I'm wearing my hair. I have super straight hair, and my veil is a fingertip single layer (I think, it may be a double layer). Anyways, I can't decide if I want it half up, or all up. Ideally, I'd want half-up with curls, but my hair can't hold a curl, so it woudl last for a few hours then be gone, most likely.

Anyways, what are your inspirations for your hair?

Any ladies with similar hair issues?

The only item I will not compromise on...my bouquet of all purple tulips wrapped in a swatch from my Mom's wedding dress.

    Ugh... hair is a major problem for me! My hair doesnt hold curl at all, so I have to have it all up. I don't want it too polished, but not to messy... lol - I'm going to schedule my trial this weekend!

    I really like that Keira Knighley look.

    I'd suggest an updo b/c of the curl issue and b/c in early May, the weather could make it even harder to hold a curl.  Plus if it's very warm outside, hair down could get annoying.

    Saw how much you are doing this weekend in the GM post -Can't believe how close you are getting!!

    I have the same issue as you - straight hair that doesn't hold curl. So for me i'm going all up. Eva Longoria's Golden Globes hairstyle is my inspiration:

    basically loving the french twist with a decent sized bump at the crown. but no wispies of hair framing my face... cuz those always get funky for me.

    jl - LOVE the dianne argon hair!! i know mine would never quite look like that so its not even in the realm of possibility for me...but if you really love it.. maybe your hairstylist could do something similar that would hold better?

    Have you thought of asking your hairstylist about using fake hair? Nothing tacky or unnatural but they sell clip on/extensions I believe that you dont have to have attached to your scalp but can use to make larger hairstyles ---such as the curls you want...

    Just a thought. I am thinking of asking my stylist about this the next time i go.
