anyone have this problem with airbrush makeup?

I really wanted airbrush makeup to work out for me, since it does look so much better in photos than traditional makeup.  I've had two trials with the same makeup artist, and I'm concerned that it won't work for me.

The first trial looked great but didn't last -- this was because the makeup wasn't set.
The second trial lasted longer except for my nose.  I have allergies (pretty much year round), so I think the makeup came off because I was blowing my nose a lot that day.  I tried to be careful, but the makeup came off and my nose just looked shiny and gross.

I'm debating about whether to try airbrush makeup anyway and hope my nose isn't so runny for the wedding.  My concern is that I've heard you're not supposed to touch up or put regular makeup on top of it.  I don't want to be stuck with a red shiny nose that I can't powder.  But if I go with traditional, it won't look as good in the photos, and I'll have to be doing more touch ups.

Any advice would be appreciated -- thanks!
